Instructions
- Prepare the glass – Fill a large wine glass or highball glass with ice cubes.
- Add elderflower syrup & lime juice – Pour in the elderflower syrup and squeeze fresh lime juice into the glass.
- Pour the Prosecco – Slowly add the Prosecco to maintain its bubbles.
- Top with soda water – This enhances the refreshing fizz of the drink.
- Garnish beautifully – Add a fresh orange slice, a sprig of mint, and some lemon zest for extra aroma.
- Lightly stir – Use a long spoon or straw to gently mix the ingredients without disturbing the bubbles too much.
- Serve & enjoy! – Sip and enjoy the crisp, citrusy goodness of your homemade Hugo Spritz. Cheers! 🥂
Notes
- Chill your ingredients: Ensure your Prosecco, soda water, and syrup are cold before mixing for the best taste.
- Don’t over-stir: Too much stirring can flatten the drink’s bubbles.
- Customize your sweetness: If you prefer a sweeter drink, add an extra splash of elderflower syrup.
- Mocktail version: Replace Prosecco with non-alcoholic sparkling wine or grape juice for a delicious alcohol-free version.
